Patterson Antiques purchases individual items to complete estates
Individual items that can be carried easily into the store may be brought by anytime however Friday & Saturday are usually busy days so you may have to wait a bit for your item to be looked at. Items we are interested in: Items must be in good condition and show little sign of wear with the exception of Antiques that show appropriate wear for the age. We purchase Quality Home decor, Sterling silver, gold & silver coins, estate jewelry, window treatments, Persian rugs, Furniture, Antiques, collectibles, art, china & lighting fixtures. We will only sell items that are in excellent/good condition, clean and with up-to-date styles; in short….furniture you would be proud to put in your home.
We do not accept ripped, torn, or furniture that is damaged. We also do not accept outdated furniture due to the small demand for these styles of furnishings. If you are unsure about your item just email us a picture and we will get back to you within 24hours.
We generally purchase items straight out but we do will take high end, in-demand or rare pieces on consignment.
What is consignment?
Consignment involves the selling of merchandise while ownership remains with the original owner. When we sell your furniture for you, you receive a percentage of the final sale price. We accept furniture and home decor in good to excellent condition. We typically only consign HIGH END pieces that will create interest and add value to our store. What are the consignment terms?
Patterson Antiques pays the consignor 50% of the item's sale price. Patterson Antiques Commission for handling the sale is the remaining 50%.
At 15 days the price of the item will drop by 10% of the original sale price.
At 30 days the price will drop by 20% of the original sale price.
At 60 days the initial consignment period will expire.
Commission checks are issued for the prior month's sales on the 20th of each month. Checks that are not picked up at the store are mailed at the end of each month.
Credit card charges and moving expenses will be deducted from sales price prior to 50/50 split.
How long does it take to sell item at Patterson Antiques?

What type of furniture do you accept for consignment?

Getting items to our Store:
We are open 6 days a week. For larger items you will need to have an appointment and you are responsible for getting your items to the store. We will help unload said items but we do not always have strong arms to help.
Will you repair my furniture?
Unfortunately, we do not repair furniture. All furniture must be in 100% functioning order before we will agree to sell it for you. We do not accept damaged pieces.
How about buying the item outright from me, can you do that?
Yes we can. Please keep in mind that that we are taking all the risk of selling so offer amount may be considerably lower than a consignment amount.
We will make every reasonable effort to safeguard your consigned but assume NO liability for the loss, damage to, or destruction of any consigned item (s) by fire, theft, accident, or any other cause.
Our pricing formula consists of condition, style, price, sq ft needed, locked cases needed, etc. We work with each individual, and the merchandise being brought in. We will help with the pricing and research of historical pieces, estate items; we do all the pricing, merchandising, and marketing to sell your product.
Each item has a term of 60 days on our sales floor. After 60 days, unsold merchandise becomes the property of Patterson Antiques. These items may be sold or donated to a local charity. If you would like any of your items back, it is your responsibility to come in to pick them up before the 60-day deadline.
